Notarial and registration fees:
- Fees for drafting the notarial deed amount to approximately 0.5% – 1% of the property price.
- Fees for entry into the land register amount to approximately 0.5% of the property price.
An example calculation of costs of property purchase in Spain:
- The price of the property: 200 000 EUR
- The ITP tax: 10% (20 000 EUR)
- VAT: 10% (20 000 EUR)
- Notarial and registration fees: 1% (2 000 EUR)
- Bank interest: 1% (2 000 EUR)
